Attorney Nikolai Doszna – Criminal Defense with Commitment and Clarity

Attorney Nikolai Doszna grew up in Aachen. He studied law at the University of Leipzig. After passing the first state examination, he completed his legal traineeship in the jurisdiction of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, with placements at the Regional Court of Aachen, the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Aachen, and two well-regarded law firms in Aachen. During this time, he began focusing on criminal law as his future area of specialization.

Following the second state examination, Mr. Doszna was admitted to the bar. He is a member of the Aachen Bar Association, the German Bar Association (DAV), the Criminal Defense Association of North Rhine-Westphalia, and the Criminal Law Working Group within the DAV. Over the course of his legal career, he has worked in law firms in Aachen and Leipzig specializing in criminal law, traffic law, guardianship law, and labor law. Today, his primary areas of practice are criminal law, traffic law, and guardianship law. In these fields, he represents clients nationwide with diligence and legal precision.

Criminal defense is at the core of Mr. Doszna’s practice. He has acted as defense counsel in over 250 investigative and court proceedings across Germany. He advises and represents clients during pre-trial investigations and main hearings, as well as in cases involving penalty orders, searches, pre-trial detention, and international criminal prosecution. His approach is always focused on achieving the best possible outcome — efficiently, thoroughly, and with a clear understanding of each client’s individual circumstances.

To further specialize professionally, Mr. Doszna has successfully completed the specialist lawyer training course in criminal law, which qualifies him for recognition as a certified specialist in this field under German law.

With Polish roots, Mr. Doszna also offers legal advice in Polish when needed. In addition, he is fluent in English and can competently assist international clients in that language as well.
